Kaity was one of dozens of University of Arizona students waiting to meet and greet American journalist and former talk show host Geraldo Rivera. Geraldo came to his alma mater to promote the release his new book His Panic: Why Americans Fear Hispanics in the U.S.

Kaity Ruth is a college student pursuing her dreams of being involved in the world of performing arts. Her major is theatre production, with an emphasis in technical and design. In addition to working stage crew, Kaity has appeared in multiple stage productions, acted in local film projects, and sings at a variety of gatherings and venues.
Kaity has opened many local events with the National Anthem. Her vocal repertoire includes country, Broadway, pop and jazz tunes.
